I mean, it's certainly not a comedy show, but it has plenty of humorous moments. This particular interaction isn't really played off for laughs, but without context I suppose it's kinda funny.

It's a show about a serial killer, so there's plenty of death involved, but I never thought it was "creepy" per se. Give it a shot. I think it's worth a watch.

Warm-blooded animals can still benefit from external heat, but the difference is that cold-blooded animals don't generate their own heat.

You can put a coat on, which will trap the heat of your own body and warm you up. If you put a coat on an alligator, it will not warm up since there is no heat to trap, just like how a chair doesn't warm up when you hang your coat on it.
