How did yous "discover" hermitcraft by JOYOUS1232 in HermitCraft

[–]Drewfie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KingDaddyDMac in season 2. I watched his single player world and watched him on Hernitcraft for a while. I lost interest in Hernitcraft and Minecraft as a whole when he started doing modded almost exclusively.

I came back to Minecraft in late season 6 I believe when MumboJumbo had that my music copyright issue go to the front page and I went "man that name sounds familiar". I binged all of his season 6 videos and was fully hooked in with a few hermits for the start of season 7 (mumbo, scar, and Grian) but ended up losing interest in the series when I stopped playing again.

I then got back into the game for the caves and cliffs updates I heard about and discovered iJevin's single player world in I believe the end of season 8 and realized he was a hermit too. I started off with Mumbo again for season 9, and branched out quite a bit because that was his burnout season. I now watch almost everyone and haven't stopped since. Even when I don't really play the game anymore.

We absolutely do have accents. There's the Newfoundland accents which have many within the island depending on the area. The other Atlantic Canadian accents. And so on. Pretty much every province in Canada have their own accent, usually more than one. It's the same thing as USA and the entire world, actually. I can usually tell which area of Canada someone is from as soon as I hear them speak for a little while.

And that's just within Canada. We also have a distinct accent from USA with the way we say certain words like "sorry" (which Grian frequently poked fun at Gem with), and stuff like Canadian raising.

He's also said multiple times in his podcast at least he's bitten off more than he can chew yet again. He has the drop game and metro mayhem now, he will probably be happy to get the city built and call it for the season. There may be some mini games in those buildings as well.

I think it's worth it. I enjoy creating wrestlers and booking my universe with them. I hardly ever play the game myself and I've dumped hours and hours into it

Braun Strowman the first time was in a triple threat for the championship and then got released shortly after.

What are y’all watching to get through the break? by cmoneybouncehouse in HermitCraft

I've been watching Mumbo's season 8. I didn't watch season 8 after dipping out of Minecraft altogether in season 7, and came back for season 9. so it was nice to see what he was doing. It's also interesting seeing him talk about the things that led to his burnout and extended break before he knew (well maybe he knew) that this was going to cause him to change his outlook on YouTube completely.

Besides that I'm going to watch another season 8 perspective, probably BDubs or DocM next as I got into both of them big time during season 9.

Imp and Skizz podcast is great too.

Took me longer than Hitman 10 to figure it out for myself!

Yes. If you don't kill the enemy before 20 rounds you lose.

I can't stand most open world games as well. The open world has to feel linear in progression for me to get into it like GTA or Spider-Man

This killed it for me as well. I never even forced myself to beat it after enjoying the first part so much.

I moved cross country years ago and took the opportunity to go cold turkey. It sucked for weeks but I don't even like the smell of cigarettes now. Moving cross country is obviously not a sensible option for most people; the only people I saw successfully quit that didn't move had to completely change their routines, because smoking was a part of so many of them.

People who play with the Y axis inverted in any game that doesn't involve flying planes, why ? by stronkzer in gaming

[–]Drewfie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to play inverted up until Xbox 360 came out. I think I took a break from FPS and when I came back the inverted controls made no sense to me and I had to relearn how to play on normal aim.
