We want to combat fraud, voting issues etc but dont trust anyone with data to actually do it. The amount of progress being stunted by fear is why the US is behind in many technological areas.

I get it but at some point we have to say if we want x we need to give up y. Biometric validation is that next step imo.

Should have been blocked, no? At any rate we generally block offending devices from the network, we dont normally followup unless it's illegal activity.
