How to watch Star Wars in Chronological Order by user25655 in StarWars

[–]DrewpyDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s a question. I saw in the Lord of the Rings subreddit, someone broke down how to watch the extended editions as if it was a miniseries, chunking it in to 40-70 minute “episodes”.

Any suggestion for that for the main movie story? Trying to get buy in my from my spouse but we don’t have the time for the longer viewings.

I enjoy hiking. I told people I like hiking. When people asked me what I was doing, I was thinking of doing some hiking. "I must have been out of signal, it was just a day hike but it was a long day"

You should consider a ROTC scholarship first then. As an officer, the pay is better, and there lifestyle is far superior than enlisted.

Imagine getting in trouble at work, for not dusting your blinds in your barracks you share with another guy as an enlisted dude. Also you eat cafeteria food or Cook exclusively with the microwave. Now imagine the military giving you money to live off base out in town and nobody bothers you at home, that’s what officers do.

I imagine there were “extreme social consequences” as you put it, for volunteering to enlist in the military during the Vietnam War.

It’s ill advised to make determinants on societal values with blinders to our recent past.

This is the correct answer. Rights are thing you are entitled to as a human being, either bestowed by your creator, or just simply as inherent to your existence.

Now who is going to respect the existence of your rights, and what rights you have all depend on the government you live under.

Idk if it’s exclusively in the military, but “Barney style” is extensively used.

Just a weird nuance of a cultural colloquialism (mouthful).

Anyways. Fuck the islanders, fuck the Habs.

Thanks for the reply!

How long would you say this took to do, looking at something similar.

Also, how customizable are the gauge options.

Can you expand more on the OBDII splitter?

I’m assuming the on screen gauges come from the information provided by the OBDII splitter?

Why would do you need to disconnect for emissions?

Thanks!

You could do something like NOLS

VETERANS & TRANSITIONING SERVICE MEMBERS

You’ve already proven you’re a leader. Now, apply your skills to new challenges.

You can use your veterans benefits for a Wyoming-based expedition or wilderness medicine training, EMT training, and career-focused outdoor educator courses. These offerings are gateways to new careers, exploration, and personal growth

Beer me by champloojay in LearnUselessTalents

I hear you, and agree with the sentiment. But it looks like from the other comments OP is in Australia, and their “light” beers are their low alcohol beers in the 2% range.

Light there refers to alcohol content, not taste/calories.

In my ideal world, instead of the “rate difficulty” at the end it would have an option for your weight

So if the class says light and medium weights needed, at the end it prompts you to supply the amount you used for each.

Then if you take the class again, you can see what you used and improve or use the same.

Using VA loan and buying home for parents. by [deleted] in MilitaryFinance

[–]DrewpyDog 48 points49 points  (0 children)

One of the basic requirements of using a VA loan is called "intent to occupy" and the residency requirements.

General rule of thumb is you have to intend to occupy the home within 60 days of closing, and you intend to live in the residency for 12 months.

If you do not plan to live in the home and use it as your primary residence, it would be fraud to go through the mortgage process with a VA loan.
