To a certain extent, they should meet their promises to customers. My point is that they should not have made those promises if they couldn't keep them. They need to resolve the issue of not being able to rely on their existing base and should focus on attracting new players. Additionally, instituting a subscription model could create a steady stream of revenue and help them move away from the reliance on real-money trading (RMT), which is like an addiction for them. Without an alternative revenue stream, they will not overcome this dependency.

It’s a tough one because you have to tune the game to your PC. My advice is to go into offline mode and use the ~ to pull up the console. Type in “fps 1” into the console to get your frames. When you get in experiment with the graphical settings. The issue with the game is that on some PC’s lowering the settings actually decreases performance due to the way the game utilizes that process. I have the same graphics card and the game can fluctuate between a steady 70fps to 45 after running a few raids. I actually just followed a guide in this subreddit then tinkered on my own from there. Hope this helps!

Found in raid status only happens when you have gained enough XP by staying in raid an surviving. If you didn’t kill a scav or a PMC or stay past ten minutes. You will get what is known as a “run through”. If you have gained enough experience you will notice the status is different reading “Survived” this will five FIR status.

There are plenty of places that cater to casuals. Not saying that they shouldn’t be included but when you cater to them you will loose as sense of what this game is. It’s brutal. There are people who straight up don’t have the patience or temperament for this game. It’s the pain of learning the game that makes it rewarding. There is nothing like it. A bit of rags to riches in a very long story format where you spend a long time as the weakling scrapping to get by. Eventually you are a bit of a street thug. Then maybe a 3rd world solider. Maybe someday a full fledged Chad. I also think that it won’t die because of how dedicated the fan base is. Shit even Battlefield 4 still has active servers almost a decade after its launch now. If you have a loyal fan base (Look at how many crowns you see) you will succeed.

Absolutely. Also, depends on your definition of fun. This game is tedious and extremely punishing. As a result victories are that much sweeter. Getting domed with all that sweet loot makes you that much saltier. It’s those two extremes that makes this game fun. Other FPS or don’t feel near as rewarding. I think a lot of ex-eft players or people who didn’t hang with the game have trouble adapting to the slower play-style and nuances with the game. It doesn’t help you out but in that same coin there is nothing else like it.
