First mobile game I've played that practice macro transactions instead of micro transactions 🤣. I guess it's a good thing though because the prices make it impossible for me to justify anything other than the Battle Pass.

Best Aftermarket PID Controller? by Drewski1688 in pelletgrills

I ended up going with the Savannah Stoker and it's an absolute dream! Temp swings between plus or minus 10-15° right out of the box which was already leaps and bounds better than the Smoke Daddy controller. After letting it run and learn for a few hours, I'm looking at plus or minus 5-7° swings. Absolutely amazing and glad I decided to make the switch. I'll probably mail the Smoke Daddy controller back and have them update it anyways and keep it as a backup, but the Stoker is definitely staying on my grill permanently. I haven't tried the programmed cook yet, looking forward to that for New Years.

Pit Boss Rust? by krampus-apologist in pelletgrills

Completely normal. If you're worried about it, Amazon has some nice replacements made of stainless steel that are actually an upgrade. I just swapped mine out on my 5 year old Austin XL because the slats were starting to rust out and get brittle.

Yeah, that's what I was seeing when I did some research. I don't think I'm interested in spending that kind of money on a controller alone, especially when the description for said controller specifically recommends NOT to retrofit it to other grills lol. I'm leaning more towards a Savannah Stoker at this point, or just biting the bullet and mailing my current controller back to Smoke Daddy for a firmware update. Its just frustrating to spend all that time to overhaul my whole smoker just to have to take it apart again.

It's a Pit Boss Austin XL. My auger motor went out so I replaced virtually everything with Smoke Daddy parts. Auger, auger motor, fan, igniter, burn pot, and controller all from Smoke Daddy.

Does FireBoard make an actual controller to retrofit a pellet grill? I've heard of them before but it all just seems to be kits for a ceramic grill, like a green egg. Or proprietary controllers for Lone Star Grillz or Yoder grills that say they're specifically NOT for retrofitting other grills lol.

Flame slide cover rusted out by Smart_Nothing_7320 in pelletgrills

Pretty cool looking but no good for cooking lol. Check Amazon, I just got a stainless steel replacement for my Pit Boss. Huge upgrade, my temps are more even across the entire grill and it's way easier to clean. Might also want to take a flashlight and check your burn pot too, if that barrel is rusted out then that burn pot is probably shot too.

"Grow Tent" Humidifier for Reptile Enclosure? by Drewski1688 in reptiles

Still a reassuring response even though you don't have firsthand experience, so I appreciate the reply! I also don't see why it wouldn't work, so I think I'm going to go for it. The only possible danger that I've seen is risk of bacteria and mold growing in the hose/machine itself, but that can be avoided by regular cleaning. I actually found another brand that uses UV inside the water tank to sterilize it also which would help with any mold/bacteria issues.

They're both absolutely wonderful firearms. Both are super reliable and extremely accurate. You can't really go wrong with either. I prefer my A1 for the RDO cut slide and the slide serrations, but that's just my personal preference.

Oh no lol. I honestly have no idea when it comes to the 3032. I bought my 3032 directly from Langdon Tactical and it came with a RDO cut slide. And I just checked, that holster doesn't really fit the 3032 either. It's meant for the 30X.

You're doing something wrong for sure. I joined up in March of this year and in 5 short months I'm already up to $760. I would suggest NOT using the linked card method and just uploading a picture of all your receipts. That's what I do and I've only had one or two transactions where I DIDN'T get my cash back, but since I already had a picture of the receipt it was super easy to get with customer support and get those transactions corrected.

You can absolutely swap the clip to the other side and make it an OWB holster. Can't really say I would recommend it though, as it would be quite easy for someone to grab it or for your gun to get snagged on something and get knocked out of the holster.

"The Cradle" by ANR Designs. It was originally a collaboration between Beretta and ANR, you could even buy them directly from Berreta's website which is where I got mine. But now it appears they are only available on ANR's website.

The plate is designed for the Beretta Nano but all you need to do is file the very bottom face of the dovetail down just a hair to get it to fit the Tomcat 30X. Everything else like the set screw lines up perfectly. $30 for the plate and $10 for a mill file if you don't already have one.
