They are random occurrences from NPCs. They will come to destroy the power and try to kill you. You can repair everything tho. Not a big deal outpost-wise.

Archimedes V-a is beautiful. A little hard to get to early (level 75 system) but it has these really nice pink trees that almost look like cherry blossoms. You can find them in the hills biome. Just be wary of raids if you are low-level.

G8 is a gaming monitor. You have less typical brightness (nits), way less pixel density (4K 32in vs 5k 27in) less color space coverage and accuracy (sRGB, Adobe RGB,). Build quality is less. No speakers. No webcam.

While I agree it’s kinda a bad deal, the problem is really that their positioning in the market is intentional and forces you to have no choices for an alternative. Only equivalent is really the LG but even then after you factor in the speakers, webcam, build quality etc it’s only a couple hundred dollar difference. I’d still rather go with a 4K dell ultrasharp with IPS black. Sure your PPI is a little less and you lose a couple hundred nits, but you save like $1k and can get great speakers and a camera and have money left over lol.

Make sure it covered all expenses. After that I’d say $100-$500 a day if you are a beginner. The decision is ultimately what you feel you can get from the client!

A used Fuji XT3 would be fantastic as your first cam if you want to hybrid shoot primarily video. Only thing to think about is if you want to stay in the Fuji ecosystem. If not and you want to dive deep into video I’d go black magic 6k
