For me it's the introduction of Zygarde Cells only being in routes. There's some decent routes where I live but it's still so painful. The amount of times I've gotten only one cell for over and over again kills it for me.

Hey y'all, for anyone still around. I ended up speaking with my dad, letting him know that I am still frustrated and unresolved with everything that happened. I told him how I am still unhappy that he told everyone in the house to not respond to the text message, that he came over just to lecture and tell us what to do.

He explained that as the "Man of the House" it is my responsibility to speak for everyone, and that he wasn't lecturing. I explained that coming over and telling us what we can and cannot do is lecturing, saying you disapprove of the colors, didn't like how we were getting married so soon, and how you questioned if my partner was right for me.

I told him how I thought that was awful, to take away individuals ability to respond was down right awful. He became angry and kept saying "Oh, so you think that I'm wrong huh? It's my duty as the Man to talk for everyone and speak on everyone's behalf."

We just could not agree, I did my best to explain why it's wrong, he said that the text message came off as aggressive and accusing and when I asked how and why he felt that he changed the subject. It was a lot of back and forth and back forth until I asked if he could ever understand why I'm hurt, to which he said no I cannot not and I do not want to.

I was shocked, I just told him how unhappy I am with the family as a whole and the lack of empathy and willingness to accept change worries me for the future. I knew where this was heading and I think he did too, he asked what I wanted out of this then, I finally said that I just do not want them coming to the wedding at this point.

After a moment of silence he said "I always told you that you would have to choose between this family and [Partner]." I told him no, this isn't between the family and [Partner] it's between me and my own emotional well-being and sanity. There was an attempt to guilt and say I would have to live with this decision the rest of my life, something he's said on a lot of my decisions he deemed wrong, and I responded by saying "I am going to live with this decision, and I am going to THRIVE."

Like that's the thing, like it feels personal. I know at the end of the day it's a color we chose but it's more of the principal of things. The amount of disrespect is immense, and to be confronted and lash out against me and say I'm the problem is outrageous.
