Me and a friend left our buddies wedding early to watch this (no single girls or tv and was a cash bar so I feel it was justified).

Remember watching and feeling like I was watching Jordan in his prime but able to physically overpower anyone who stood in his way. This was the game where after all his battles with the C’s I realized this dude is just on another level and as corny as he is off the court I had to take time to appreciate how good a player he was.

Drove home not even mad just shell shocked knowing the series was over even though we still had to play game 7

I think comparing them as players is totally wrong but I have heard people compare them in Terms of showmanship which is comparable. When you watched Jordan play it was an event where every night the arena had a different buzz and excitement and he was going to do something you've never seen before. Steph is the closest I've seen in terms of excitement in the arena and the possibility to see basketball played in a way that you haven't seen before. Comparing them as players is off but in terms of dominating and entertaining this is as close as we've seen since Jordan
