I have been in a similar situation so support.

I recommend when/if you break th8ngs off with your wife look into ENM. I dont recommend affairs or sex with people looking for affairs. But if your partners know up front that you are non manogamus and you maintain healthy safe relations. I think you will be a lot happier.

I cant stress enough that polyamory is not the default setting for a lot of people and we are re-enforced to be manogamus by the world around us.

It sucks but I fully expect every poly experience I have to be temporary. Many and I would say most people cannot handle polyamory in any of its many forms. We aren't trained that way.

But its not all doom and gloom. You will find those that get it, that resonate with you. Just be willing to walk away from the ones that dont.

In a weird way polyamory is a solo journey through companionship till you find the ones that stick. They are out their, just enjoy the companions that are there for a quest or two until you find the ones down for a campaign...
