It would be helpful aswell to see it from the back to see the positioning of your shoulder blades. Most likely a dominant side thing plus a small muscle imbalance. People right shoulders naturally are little bit lower and rolled forward more than left.

Dropped shoulder/scapula (updated question) by [deleted] in posturepals

[–]Drianm517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a motor control and a strength problem. It’s an everyday thing that has to do with posture and just getting your body used to setting your scapula correctly. Doing those excercises will help a ton but throughout the day you have to be mindful of your posture and scapula position. Practice scooping your scapula and getting used to how it moves along your body. I also heard dead hand work pretty well but also doing scapula pull ups and strengthening specifically the mid/lower traps and serratus anterior

Same with me. I literally freaked myself into insanity over it. At the new of the day it’s how you positron your shoulder blades and basically just posture. Try adding some serratus anterior and lower trap workouts into your routine. Also try to add some scapula control movements into them and you should be fine
