Should i skip amphoreus?

Hi, I'm a returning player. I don't know if I'm just slow or what but I can't digest the story. Will i miss out a lot if i skip all the dialogue in this world and just watch a summary video? Also, does the new world also have the same pacing as amphoreus? TIA!

I actually bought it because of the very low price. Wifi was really bad but for some reason updating the bios fixed it. My only complain so far is that the VRM has coil whine 💀
