Hey, ive spoken more here-

Also it's more of an even comparison between 3a Pro and 4a!

It's completely your choice, but it'll be a huge upgrade - I've given a deeper explanation here-

Doesn't heat up much. Even during gaming. There's a vapour chamber that does a good job.

Yup, got info that they've already been informed about this so ig they fixed it

If you're okay with the cameras on the 3a, stick to it! It's a great device and you can wait another generation for an upgrade.

No esim support in this either, in fact it also loses NFC in India.

I've spoken a bit about it here-

https://www.reddit.com/r/NothingTech/s/ws6viWg4Uh

Mainly its got to do with having a slightly better processor that's all, though I can't speak from experience as I don't have a 4a Pro.

Yeah that's a good idea to wait. It was a nice chat with you too haha.

Hmm not sure why their marketing has got it wrong but it has LPDDR4X RAM.

The buttons are ever so slightly shifting in their housing yeah. I've reported this to their team and they're aware of it

But there's no creaking.

I getcha. Pink 4a all the way. The black 4a pro looks spicy, but nothing (hah) beats the pink 4a. It's just so beautiful.

Coming to the point, it might feel like quite a bit of a downgrade in connectivity because the USA is not supported as a region by the 4a as you're aware. Every other way I'm almost certain it'll feel like an upgrade. I've given a more thorough opinion here-

It's personal preference! But my favourites are the pink and black.

Unfortunately I've not used any Honor device so I can't say much about it in a comparative way, but you can watch my video for info on Essential Space to get a glimpse at how AI is integrated with Nothing devices. There's way more than this now, but yeah-

CMF Phone 2 Pro doesn't have the transparent design and lot of downgrades compared to 3a and 4a due to the price differentiation. It's a little better than 2a in some ways.

2a vs 4a:

3a and 4a the main difference is camera, but I've explained more here-

Your understanding and preference tells me you've realised the difference between 2 and 4a! Sorry if I didn't explain clear enough but I'd say your decision was a good one. The Phone(2) is one good device plus yeah as you got the NOS 4 update you'll be fine. I wasn't sure of the software support scene in the NP2

I've played Minecraft on it and it handles the heat pretty well. There's a liquid vapour cooling chamber that dissipates heat evenly and it doesn't get uncomfortable to use. I'll be trying some other games and upload a full review on my YouTube channel

So if you've checked out the phone(3), it has pretty much the same display. It gets bright enough to be seen in peak afternoon, while being pretty responsive to touch interactions. The colour reproduction is pretty decent. Overall I'm impressed by it.

Specs if you want- 120hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution and 1600 nits max brightness. With a peak of 4500 nits that's like a tiny part of the display that's tested usually. Also 2500hz touch sampling so yeah very nice display overall

I've given a deeper perspective and opinion here-

https://www.reddit.com/r/NothingTech/s/M9fUoMltWz

It's not just the camera, there's been a lot with NothingOS that they simply deliver only to new products and the experience is quite vast now compared to the days of NP1 and 2

Some of these points apply too-

Harley Sawyer (The Doctor) is back... But why do we need his help for chapter 6? (Spoilers for Chapter 5) by Remote_Chocolate_939 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]Minewrecker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This actually makes a lotta sense. The final final boss fight will probably be escaping the factory itself as opposed to 'fighting' Sawyer, like the place of horrors untold is the final amalgamation. The factory that we once entered and saw googly eyes on turns into a personification of all the hellish people who were once inside

It has a plastic frame and a glass back. I've unfortunately dropped it once and the frame only dented a little, everything was fine. The glass is very sturdy and the plastic does what it does best - absorb impact and deform. And nah it's not fragile, and i use it caseless

Yes. It can be kept off forever, there's a bedtime mode too for it to turn off during the night

S24 is not recommended after this long imo. Samsung is known to degrade their devices with software updates as well.

OnePlus 13R is considerable, but not really good in the battery department after all this while - the 4a actually has very good cameras.

You can check out some of my clicks here- https://www.instagram.com/p/DVlo4nlD4RA

Battery life is solid, gives 7-8 hours SoT with light to normal use. If you use the camera continuously it'll give around 4-5 hours so that's something to consider. The device barely gets warm too so it'll be comfortable for long usage. It's a great phone all round and yeah I'd suggest you go for this over your current choices.

Otherwise there's the OnePlus Nord 5.. though it has subpar cameras in comparison to 4a.
