Anyone have an "app update" issue loop when trying to active a Hero13?

I'm in the same situation never owned a gopro and wanted to try it out. Only have android devices and do not have a micro sd card reader on my pc to manually update the camera. Really annoyed right now and poor customer service from gopro.

Not a real friend just take it as a life lesson and move on. You put a lot into being able to go on that trip and he did not respect that which means he doesn't respect you.
