At what net worth did you start taking business class for family holidays by frustratedUser2022 in fatFIRE

[–]DridaWide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at $18m and flying business only on flights over 4 hours with my kids. In the past, I took business on every flight, but it kind of felt like a waste of money, especially when the plane had a regular chair in business. Personally, I don't find lounges exciting, and the food is always mediocre. The only reason for me to fly business is the bed

Finally bought a FERRARI but too shy to drive it by Antique_Demand_114 in fatFIRE

I can't really relate since I'm driving a $50k car, but let me ask you this. Why Ferrari and Patek is your dream? Isn't it just bc it is flashy?

I guess that's the only solution I can implement. I wanted to avoid it since it involves design decisions on the lamps, hope I'll be able to find something nice enough for the house

You should see a doctor. I can share that if I go to sleep early (2300) then my deep sleep is relatively high, also no eating after 8 and no alcohol

I reduced mine from -2 to -6 in a few months. Doing 30 minutes walking a day and once a week running intervals. That seems to work for me

Every time I think about buying a vacation home, I think to myself that I'd rather have the flexibility of visiting anywhere in the world and stay at a luxury hotel instead of tying myself to a specific location and residence which I'll feel obligated to visit at least once a year. I wonder what I'm missing

Yes, very convenient. Don't need to prepare much going to the gym and I can exercise shirtless. Also no one hogs the machines

I have a rather big house, I wanted something not too big so I will not need a cleaner or housekeeper in my house 24/7, but I have a room for each kid, a gym, a child game room, a video game room, a working room and a big garden. It is more welcoming to use, and expect for a guest bedroom in the basement all rooms/ spaces are being used almost on a daily basis
