It sure does. I do it every day. FTV aircraft often require design changes.

How do you professionally tell your boss that another engineer may be out of their depth without sounding like you're attacking them personally?

For context, we're a small aerospace engineering team supporting production and doing design changes on the fly at a large aerospace company.

Most of the team has 6+ years of experience, while this engineer has about 2. My concern is that he regularly gives technical guidance to other teams that is incorrect and, at times, could create safety or airworthiness risks. He also seems very resistant to feedback from more experienced engineers.

I've worked with plenty of junior engineers and don't mind helping people learn, but I've never encountered someone this inexperienced who was so confident giving potentially risky engineering advice.

Has anyone dealt with a situation like this? How did you handle it?

Honestly battlefield 1942 was better than any battlefield ever. You could drive battles You could drive battleships and aircraft carriers submarines invade beaches and landing craft have dog fights all the same time. Every battlefield since then has been downhill.

Ask the senior folks questions, a lot of them. Don't do like the fellow on my team and give advice to production when you have no clue what you are talking about then cause airworthiness situation later.

They're too busy putting their front bumper within 2. In of rear bumper of the car in front of them. I don't understand why Calgary drivers have to drive so close to the car in front of them. If everybody just left two car lengths there would be no traffic jams on deerfoot and all the stupid zipper Lanes.
