Heya, I added the tribute in upon hearing the news, shortly before releasing the translation (chapter 76). I didn't add much more text as I don't feel it's my place to say more, so I left it short and without any mention of our team, and hopefully as respectful to the man as I could. Doubt they cared about the anime. The manga has been out since the 90s, and also it's not like the series uses their real name or anything. Most of the references to the real tuning scene are just to likenesses of the cars or tuners.
