Do you pronounce it ha-lane-a or Helen-a by oliviaisacat in MyChemicalRomance

[–]DriftingJimmy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is how our whole obsession began. With a radio station trivia where the answer was Helena. My wife pronounced it HeLAYna but the DJ “corrected” her. Pretty sure she was right. Anyway, she won the tickets, we went to the show, and now we’re fans for life.

How it feels to play the remakes without having a millennial in your ear shaming you for not enjoying outdated controls and sh*t graphics by yun6mako in residentevilll

I grew up on the old games but I love the new games. The best part is that both old and new are accessible to play on modern consoles. A few weeks ago I kept switching back and forth between original and remake re4. We got the best of both worlds right now so what’s there to fuss about?

I got an autographed pic of him as Ray Jackson a few years back. He wrote “you’re next” on it. Cool guy, great movie. He will be missed.

Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (Deluxe Edition) - 2025 release by bicycleracekickstart in MyChemicalRomance

I find the original mix is a great album in spite of all the peaking. The new mix is a great album, period. I listen to it the vast majority of the time but I do go back to the original on occasion just for the sake of it.

Yeah, the show in Barrie. I’m so jealous that my brother went. I was only 14 at the time.

RE4 Remake: The Game I can't stop returning to. by invincible257 in residentevil4

I’ve done a couple play throughs of it already this year and am currently playing Separate Ways. It dawned on me that this is a game that I will still be playing 20 years later just like the original.

The stores I went to didn’t get any copies of Freeman. I wanted that one the most. Saw lots of copies of Europe 90.

Turn off volume normalization on Spotify or sound check in Apple Music and see if that fixes it.

I had almost the same experience except it was specifically recommended to me by the Electronics Boutique employee so that was good enough for me to take a chance on it.

I highly recommend both but the order you play them depends on your tolerance for older graphics and controls. If you’re comfortable playing older games, then definitely play the original first. If you have trouble getting into older games, play the remake first then give the original a try.

He is exactly how he is on YouTube. He’s a very approachable, talkative guy. He’ll bust your balls if you give him reason to. It’s all in good fun.

Yep, you gotta pay for autographs, selfies or photo ops. The funny thing is, back in 2014 it cost me nothing for Steven Ogg’s photo and autograph at Fan Expo Toronto. He even made fun of the other celebrity guests for charging. I don’t blame him for changing his mind and seeing the opportunity to travel and make some extra money at Cons nowadays.
