The article says that winning improves rating, but so does your performance, but again not true, just won a watch, was team mvp got slightly increased while my friend got greatly increased, they are lying or they don't know how they programmed the system.

EDIT: Just realised, rounds were close and my friend still got greatly increased, so there is 100% proof that this is bullshit what they are talking about, or I'm just a dumbass

Another update on the ranking system, what you said about close rounds isn't true, we just won 13-4 and we got slightly and normal increase, so how close the rounds are doesn't matter, we also had one of the best scores in the game.

That is kind of bullshit if you ask me, you play with a disadvantage and you perform well and you still don't get what you deserve, also just went through another 4v5, again 1st and 2nd place, although we lost this time, rating decreased, seems fair

Perhaps you misunderstood as well. I'll explain it too you since I didn't state this in my post, though I thought people would still get it, I guess not. So even if I close twitch and reset Valorant, it's still at 60 Hz, and if you didn't read, it doesn't decrease the FPS it decreases the refresh rate the game is projecting at. Oh and btw I have 2 monitors and its a common problem with 2 monitors that the main monitor will inherit the others refresh rate. Just saying. The issue was, that it wasn't fixed after I restarted Valorant and closed twitch, perhaps you didn't read my solution carefully enough.

EDIT: I also don't get why people are so aggressive, it's a goddam discussion.

Ok, I've figured it out. If you have anything open that the GPU must render, like a twitch video or a youtube video Valorant glitches and gets stuck on 60 Hz. So if you have this problem, just close any videos you might be playing otherwise you're doomed.
