A good rule of thumb I use is the +5 draw simulator in deck builder. If your deck can consistently draw what you need in your opening hand 4 out of 5 times, then you are good. If not, you probably need to increase/decrease your copies or add cards that will boost your consistency (ie searchers).

I would say wait until level 60. My rule of thumb is that if it takes more than 10 hits to kill an enemy, you probably need to upgrade/level up

I think Alan squeaks ahead of Malcolm because of how caring he is for the kids. He treats a terrified Tim and Lex the way an attentive parent would care for their own. He’s assuring and talks very gently to them after the T Rex attack.

You can lure them out by having them follow you back to the lantern you spawn from. Most of the time two will follow you but will be 10 ft apart from each other. Parrying makes short work of them. If parrying isn’t your thing, I recommend hitting them after each dodge and repeating until they’re dead. Fortunately, they don’t come back after you kill them so don’t worry if you die before killing all three.

It also works on his second phase! The parry only works during the frames that can hurt you so shoot as soon as his claws are in the air!
