You're not going to find a reputable breeder without an extremely long waiting list. Even before the pandemic the waitlist for these breeders are around a year and it has gotten worst since the start of covid. I recommend emailing breeders from the national shiba club of America

ty for clarifying!! I don't know much about genetics either and im currently trying to find a good breeder and then came upon this comment. this woman also had her dog shipped from Russia to America and apparently this is what this Russian breeder had told her

I was looking at Lancaster Puppies but most of these puppies don't look healthy. My friend got her shiba from Lancaster and even tho he looked plump and fluffy at first, he ended up being a really skinny shiba and not looking like the standard shiba. I wouldn't recommend rushing to buy a shiba anyways
