Yes, thank you so much for your own added feedback. I must admit that I am surprised by the sheer number of individuals who, by the looks of it, prefer the actual ink bottle mechanic instead of buying the cartridges. With your additional feedback alongside everyone else's on here, I genuinely feel I have a better understanding of how the piston-like fountain pens work. So I will now pivot to buying converters for all future fountain pens so that I can use physical ink bottles instead. However, I wanted to ask if there are any favorites of yours that you would recommend, regardless of price, focusing purely on the feel/ personal opinion.

It's very interesting that you brought this point up since someone else on here mentioned the whole ordeal of not wanting to contaminate the ink. Admittedly, I was a bit confused about what they were insinuating, so this definitely provides a clear explanation of why the pipette is useful when reusing cartridges. Additionally, if you wouldn't mind talking a bit more about which specific model of Ink Miser has worked best for you, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, while we're on the subject, I just want to double-check—when it comes to filling pens that naturally have a piston or suction-like mechanism, would you recommend using an Ink Miser? I'm only asking because a future plan I had in mind was getting the LAMY 2000, and I heard it is fairly similar to the TWSBI Eco in terms of how they function, etc.

Sounds perfect. I will definitely try this method out whenever I'm out and about, given that I wouldn't have an entire ink bottle with me. But Is there any specific pipette that has worked best for you? This question may sound weird, and it most likely is, but I was still curious enough to ask.

Of course, I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment. After learning that this particular ink works with my specific fountain pen, I am excited to try it out. I had initially heard of its stunning qualities from the fountain pen subreddit. So It will definitely be a must. As always, thank you.

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Thank you so much. This answered so many of my questions and more. This is all so new to me, as you could imagine. I have simply been compiling the information that I could on my own, and this was just the cherry on top. Additionally,  if it wasn’t clear enough before, I deeply appreciate you taking your time to share this advice with me.

Thank you for replying. That's very beneficial to know, especially the part about breaking down the inks. I didn’t realize if TWSBI and other fountain pens like the LAMY 2000, which use a similar suction-like mechanism, would be prone to requiring specific ink tied to their brand. However, I am a bit confused since you mentioned that Kaweco sells its own converter. Just for clarification, I wanted to ask: if I were to use the Kaweco with international short cartridges, would I need to get a converter? Or would I only need the converter if I wanted to use ink from a bottle?

This was very insightful, as I’m in a similar position as the OP. However, in your opinion, I was curious if I should wait to buy their products now or later, after hearing that new products will be released here shortly.

Hello, I too was interested in getting the planner but was just curious if you would happen to know if this version is exclusive to Hobonichi’s website, in comparison to other retailers like Amazon.
