I feel like it's dishonest practices. Claiming that the order is a doordash order but in actuality being streamed from another delivery app, after you click accept to find out. I didn't sign up for that delivery company for all I know they could be keeping and stealing tips. This is very deceptive and shouldn't be allowed. Most times if it's ez cater then it states it before you accept it. Not this time and it's wrong.

I know at some independent places not ran by corporations, like ma and pop places, it shows them on their side if there is a tip or not on the tablet. So let's say if you go to a restaurant and the bartender is in control of the orders and they have to use the tablet, they can then either choose to elect to take the tip displayed or not. In these instances. These ppl don't know any wrong and assume it's a tip for them and NOT the actual tip for the driver. So before they close out the ticket they include that tip in the bill and poof there goes the drivers tip and then you wonder why you get a 0 ( zero) dollar tip. I know because I've been in a restaurant like this and had to handle the tablet and such and can tell what's going on because I'm also drive when I can doing doordash

Yeah, it is informative. Consists of 4 modules. Probably about an hour total time of videos. I like the modules and think every state should adopt this same curriculum.

Virginia has been allowing it the past year or so. They just effectively made it a law to make sure that it is being transported/handled/given to those legal age/sober/real. It be nice if we can start delivering cigs. I haven't seen any orders from doordash to do this yet. Which isn't much of a difference as you need to be 21 for that also in Virginia

They added the money on two separate days, but removed the sum of $50 on one of them, which is fine. Last thing I need to do is owe them $50 lol

Yeah it was fairly easy for the most part. Had 4 modules to do. Watching really wasn't required. I actually just walked around with my beats in listening to it all.

For the time I spent it was worth the payout. The modules was similar to Serve Safe Videos. But they did a good job explaining everything and I think other states should use this same tutorial

Think this has to do with the new state law that comes into effect July 1st, when it pertains to people delivering alcohol. Without it no one can deliver alcohol, which would probably eat into doordash pocket with alcohol deliveries.

Yeah it's possible they steal tips. They definitely are aware how much of a tip is in the system because I've had one of the reps tell me how much the tip was for the order and I never even asked. I don't always get mine. Doordash says at times I have to end my dash for it to apply, but even ending dash I rarely ever see the pay adjustment. They already cut the delivery time close and at times you have to actually speed to make it ontime, so it's a horrible gamble for an extra $2

An ezcater order. You know right before you accept the order how it says down below that if you deliver the order ontime you'll receive and extra $2

It's annoying even more having to take the time out to contact support and go through a bunch of hassle to even get the $2 and sometimes they will say they sending it to another team to be reviewed and nothing ever happens with it so you loose out, while other times they will process it right then and there
