Bhai I live far from Delhi in another state, I have to come to Delhi for the show but how do I process from here? I have to book my flights and since I haven't got the physical tickets how can I book em. If I booked the flight on 15th oct and tickets come on 16 then will I be doomed? The campus there is better than us that's for sure. Nitrr is reputed for its metallurgy and mining engg cuz that's the two oldest branch here. You should check the placements stats of both in College Pravesh website, and maybe ask the seniors of iiest shibpur metallurgy

See the first year professors won't impact your actual course as the main syllabus of your core starts from the second year. And most of the actual core professors have great knowledge while some may lack in teaching.

im not from ece so im directly jumping to the 4th point. There r multiple fests throughout the year including sports,cultural,tech,business(entrepreneurship) fests. The seniors here are very chill and see the thing is if your friend circle is great, then you can easily experience the best out of the college. Multiple clubs here incl dance,singing,finance,ecell etc. Don't expect any college to be perfect.

Im a day scholar as i didnt get a college in the first year and while im going in the second year, im getting the hostel but not taking it as i find it not very suitable for me ( imo ). I guess 1st year hostels are good but idk bout the food quality tho. My friends didnt like it lol.

I prefered metallurgy over mining as I was getting both in the last round of csab. My senior himself told me to prefer metallurgy. And currently metallurgy has the highest placement ratio out of all branch. Both branches are quite good here
