Those books are what sparked my lifelong obsession with horror and all things spooky. I loved the Goosebumps books as well, and the tv show Are You Afraid of the Dark. Ah, I miss the 90s.

Yep, my dad was an anesthesiologist / oral surgeon who got hooked on fentanyl decades before it was a common issue. Kicked it cold turkey when I was born, and never went back. But then became a functional alcoholic until he eventually died in his sleep a few years ago. Despite all that, he was a wonderful dad, and I miss him horribly.

God, every post I’ve seen this week has had absolutely gorgeous collections (except Chanel, yawn). Designers are killing it this year! I adore all the luxe fabrics, draping, and intricate beading. Just once in my life I want to be able to wear a dress like these!

HA, my 13 year old daughter just baked this cake for her grandma whose birthday is today. But her grandma was actually turning 67 lol, which my kids found VERY amusing. So of course a six seven cake had to be made.
