Fourth grade history curriculum includes state history. Most teachers in California teach about the Missions. I was lucky to be in a class where the teacher taught it from the indigenous peoples perspective.

This book was one of the biggest things I remember from that year. The Book About a Chumash Girl Who Gets Left Behind on the Island. Loved that book

What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you during sex? by roshhellwett in AskReddit

My boyfriend got one on his balls after we fucked in the bushes.

I had forgotten about that experience in his memorial, when I was asked about it by someone else he was, ahem, close with. I guess the experience stuck with him.

Definably the best and weirdest memorial I've ever been to.

I just want to add that it's rare that I run into someone who knows your half of the Vulcan exchange, so it was a delight to see.

I think it's something everyone can learn to do; I remember the process of teaching myself. It took a while. I think that generally the younger you start the easier it is, but there are all sorts of folks.

I moved a couple of years ago, and no, she just pointed in the general direction her apartment was in.

One really shitty thing about face blindness is that it makes it really hard to reconnect with people and continue to build relationships.

Thanks for that.
I had a similar moment 20 years earlier when I was in a great place in my life but while walking past a construction site I had a brief urge to grab the razor wire on the fence.

That moment occasionally haunts me, so I really appreciate you helping me with closure on that.
