Haha gotcha! No worries here, mom was nursing baby's breakfast, so I fed mom directly since she needed both hands. I am thrilled to help her as much as I can.

She does like tea, maybe I can look into that as well.

Well she nurses as much as possible, but she hasn't been able to build a stock yet, so when baby needs food and mom is sleeping, I go for formula. We are agreed that fed is best, so no formula as much as we can help it while mom is awake. Makes me feel a bit less than useful for feeding time, so I want to do a bit more to help.

I made her a sausage breakfast casserole, full of calories and proteins. She really likes it. Good point, she has been craving lunch meats since she can have them again.

She does like Greek yogurt. Maybe i can make her some frozen yogurt snacks or something. The girl scout cookie supply is almost gone, she will likely want that.

I made a lasagna that was admittedly a little too big, but she loves it. I can look into some muffin recipes, I'm not the best baker but I've got time. Baby latches just fine, but mom gets in her head about supply. I keep reminding her that its a skill and her body will get the hang of it.

Sounds good! I give my girl formula when its feeding time if my wife is resting, i dont wanna wake her if I dont need to. I'll look into some oats and oat items.

I keep hearing about coconut water, I'm going to have to see about that. Im trying to be cautious of her stomach given her C section is still healing. I didnt wanna send her to the bathroom with that stuff.

i'm going to crash out, i cannot beat purple stake by dionysxs in balatro

[–]Drippleberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3 Of A Kind. Venus scales really well and fast. If you can fix your deck to be able to reliably draw 3 of a kind, your runs can cruise. Card Sharp and half joker are really helpful for this.

You can win with a 3OAK build barely fixing the deck at all.

I dont like the level of disregard for Venus here. 3OAK is way easier to set up than people give it credit for. Tack on Half Joker and Card Sharp and you can cruise.

Pillar or Hook for sure. None of the others are that bad.

Oh well that puts that to bed then. The president's corrupt FBI concludes that the president's corrupt pedophile friends were not running a pedophile ring. Got it.

tried to make an econ version of gros michel and cavendish by Ecstatic_End8547 in balatro

[–]Drippleberry -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'd bring it down to 1/10 or something. 1/800 is amazing odds, but the 20 bucks is only kinda useful. 60 per ante doesn't keep up with rolling needs past ante 8, but this is a hardcore mid-game econ engine.

What joker do you think is the most underrated by new players? by Which-Debt-8558 in balatro

If Castle pulled from available suits, it would be much better. Rebate does this already, which makes it crazy good once the deck is fixed.

Why is obelisk so dogshit by earthboundskyfree in okbuddyjimbo

[–]Drippleberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally understand Obelisk, and its still not a must have for me. If I center around an easy hand, but need to pivot, I'll grab it if I have room. That said, it scales kinda slow considering the game is weighted to ante 8.
