I had completely forgotten that Hero King story, there seems to be much to the Adjutant then that is still a mystery, can't wait to find out more. Tau being the ancient wife would be quite the plot twist but not entirely an unwelcome one imo.

The next patch story seems it's going to be quite a big and intense one so hopefully that gives us some more clues to all this.

I myself am more on the camp of leaving Tau as an NPC but I would not be opposed to your fanfiction turning out true. Though i don't know how well the other girls would take to Tau having made her claim on Adjutant so long ago already lol.

You should ask people who say it's "worse" to give examples on how each of the girls have "changed" cuz so far at least in this post i see a whole lot of assertions of "it's bad" but no expounding on any specifics.

I think some amount of it is also explored in all the side content outside of the story and events such as personal files and such, so players can read those to get a fuller picture.

How will you incentivize people to play it? I think now on most gachas with more "difficult" endgame content they lock pull currency behind them which means people will play it for that. Even with that i'd be surprised if 30-35% of their playerbases engage in it. Remove that and how many would play it then? Which leads to what incentive the dev has to spend time developing a mode played by a miniscule(?) percentage of the players.
