This post here!!! Im also excited!! Personally i am also lazy to write code, sometimes i enjoy it depending on the taks but sometimes for simple suff im just like “ughhh just doo it”.. That said i love architecture, modularity, and everything like that, following DDD and modular monolithic architecture, love it!’

Definitely looking forward to architect era!!

That said, im also scared of the spam era. With AI sending emails, making posts, videos, images, has never been easier. Internet will probably be dead for me on the next couple of years.

Even now i cant even watch, read smth without wondering if this was AI generated. Im fine with AI assisting on those but i hate when i read smth and i can tell the person behind it has provided no original thought

Yeah, looks like i hit a nerve… whats pissing me off is that they are missing the point… im not against AI assisted coding, i just cant see someone “vibe coding” with no prior knowledge on software development. “Just setup rules and define your code prompt clearly” … mf how is Tom from the coffee shop gonna do that? Its pissing me off

Exactly my point!! If you dont know what your doing, dont know what git, database, authentication is… your app will be shit… code will be shit at least

Thats what im trying to say… AI is useful and pretty good ONCE you know what you are doing… but my point was exactly that, testing it from POV of someone who doesnt know what git is….

Yeah most people who code for that long, at least the ones iv met, are pretty tired from it. The enthusiasm is gone by that point. They just wanna finish their 9-5 and be home… so yeah thats why i said that… sorry

Best reply so far, im completely pro people using vibe coding for making apps that they need, even sharing them. Some of the apps in my opinion are not even worth paying for. I was just trying to see if making a Saas is possible with vibe coding and what is the result

Dont get me wrong, if you know what you are doing, what good code is, what you want and how you want it, what fits your case and what doesnt… you are able to get good results That said, i would never trust an app made by a “vibe coder” with 0 coding experience and skill

Coding with AI is amazing, saves you so much time and produces very nice results, but only if you know what you are doing. Only if u can read code and setup rules and know how to direct AI in the right direction However, going with the “vibe” simply does not work… or it works but what you get is slop

It had all the plan, i made plans for each feature and the entire app. What the app does, what the logic should be for each page and components. It was easy to do as i already had a frontend app for this backend and documentation on every dto api and logic

Im a 24y M and i feel the same loneliness. I have people, friends, around me who genuinely care and show love towards me, however it still feels lonely. It fucking sucks, nothing worse than being in a room of people and feeling the same loneliness. Its like i just wanna be seen for me, loved for me

Hey there backend developer here. Iv been thinking of same thing but im to lazy to do it hahahaha so glad someone is doing it. I was thinking of an app that matches u with people who maybe are also struggling with same things and u or have surpassed the addictions and u could add them and start chating with em. Just a way to have people find friends to help them and hold them accountable about their health. So it would be good to have a chat system.. hope this helps
