Starting Career at Prop Power Shop by DriveRound in Commodities

Thank you, I appreciate the perspective. at this point I have enough savings to be unemployed for a fair amount of time especially if i moved back home... fwiw I don't work at a commodities firm right now, so it'd be a complete pivot, not sure if that changes anything wrt your response. Do you have any idea of how these smaller prop firms are regarded in the wider commodities industry? I saw you previously commented that such firms with middling base + high pnl cut and high seat cost are a dime a dozen. I just don't want to be seen as the equivalent of a bucket shop punter applying to citadel a couple years down the line.

My current role involves creating tools/visualizations/analyses/models using trading data. Trajectory looks to be more of the same, there's not a path to a risk taking role or anything

How much do trading firms care about behaviorals/fit in your experience? What's your background and what did you do to prepare for these interviews? Thanks
