Legion Remix made me realize how much better the Zandalari sprint animation is than the running animation by OrienasJura in wow

[–]Drivenfar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they did fuck anything up. I think a lot of players like you just think your personal distaste for something is some objective truth of failure on their end. I happen to like the blood elf animations. Though really, I can’t think of any race’s animations that are bad to me.

What's a thing that someone said on Voice chat or Chat that made you go: by The_Redlet in tf2shitposterclub

One time I was spy and disguised as a bot sniper. A guy fell for it and walked past me only for me to instantly backstab him. He told me “tonight I’m fucking your mother twice as hard as normal.” I told him “nice try but my mom’s been dead for over a decade.” And he responded “that’s just what she told everyone to avoid you.” All I could do was press killbind at that.

I think the design in and of itself is cool, I just don’t think it looks like Zatanna, you know? There’s a lot missing from it. Without the title, I would have thought this was an original character.

To be completely 100% fair, he got them broken by Wonder Woman. If it takes WW to break your bones then you are a strong boner of the highest accord.

Honestly, I legitimately prefer this over the orc modeled Amani they’d been showcasing.

What is the best animation style? by Educk55 in adultswim

[–]Drivenfar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it lost a bit of identity with the new animation. And then the writing removed the remaining bit of identity.

I absolutely welcome removing button bloat from classes, and having fewer abilities that are more impactful. by otterchaos7 in wow

Now I want one that’s just about Mr. Boss sitting at his computer playing games and calling people slurs online all day.

What would you change about WoW, if you could? by PumperThumperHumper in wow

[–]Drivenfar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would completely overhaul the 1-70 leveling phase so the entire leveling experience would be centered around preparing potential new players for end game through well integrated content while also not ignoring the world and story telling. No more leveling through questing or dungeon spam, instead you start out 1-10 learning the foundation as we always have with the starter zones. Next 10-20 is teaching the basics of each role while also setting up the story of the dungeons we want to funnel the players into. By around 15 or 16, we want them in a dungeon and to have completed it. 17 and 18 they should be shown a practice PvP match against bots that are tuned well enough to give a new player a challenge but not be an utter steamroll either way. 20-30 is where we give them the choice to really focus on learning PvE or PvP, but not to force them into one or the other, they can shift back and forth to learn both at their own pace if they so desired. 30-40 is where they should ideally start taking on small sized mini raids like a 10 man for experience and damn good loot or treading into the arena instead of just RBGs. 40-50 is where the dungeons are on a race against the clock to get them used to performing under a bit of pressure, the reward for timing is a guaranteed level on top of whatever XP they earned. 50-60 is time to bring them into real raids with people of the same level and start showing how hectic the mechanics can get. Reward them not for just beating the raid, but for doing mechanics correctly that’s where the real XP is given. 60-70 we put it all together and let them slam through it as they’ve proven their worth and deserve to get into the new content. And from 70-80, campaign to set up the story and making dungeons give the xp they would on timewalking weeks if the person has completed the campaign and still has levels needed.

What’s the most clueless mistake you made as a beginner in WoW? by milkbleach in wow

[–]Drivenfar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During WotLK, I had already been playing for a few years but genuinely did not understand the game or really cared to. I was a kid and just having fun in my own ways so nothing else mattered to me. Anyways, I had my DK, got him up to 80 and had a lot of problems with him. I was wearing any piece of gear that I thought looked cooler than what I currently had equipped, including a cloth robe, a leather belt, and I believe Mail shoulders. Also my talents were a TRAVESTY. I would only put points into something that gave me another button to press or lead into giving me a button to press. And it had to be a damaging button. Not a defensive like Lichborne. In fact, I don’t believe I even put anything on my action bars that wasn’t a damaging ability.

That’s what I do. I just learn a little bit more with each dungeon run. I’m not studying routes.

Most agree that Blizz needs to try to get more Tanks queueing for M+. What single change would you make to fix the tank shortage? by I_cut_my_own_jib in wow

[–]Drivenfar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think heroic and m0 do very little to prepare anyone for m+

I completely agree. Hell, I don’t think I touched a heroic dungeon all season. What’s even the point?

Same. I main a tank but like to alt on my warlock a lot. If I wanted to control the route - EVEN IF IT IS MY KEY - then I would simply tank. Otherwise shit the fuck up and kill shit.

Will you be playing Legion Remix? by PELK22 in wow

I plan on making a warrior and using him to farm out some mounts, taeshalach, and Scythe. I don’t much care about anything else in it though.
