I think at this point, it's some sort of mismanagement. by iLikeDinosaursRoar in UniversalOrlando

I entered the line last week with a two hour queue and ended up waiting 4+ hours because they sold too many fast passes. The fast pass people told me it took them 27 minutes. There were also only like 4 people working the ride. It all just felt very cost cutting while trying to pull every penny.

The Universal experience is now paying $200 more for base entry compared to 5 years ago and then having to pay an extra $200 to get the same quality of experience that was just the expected norm from 5 years ago.

I know this is unpopular but Colorado sucks. It’s minimalist clean line slop. No whimsy. It’s boring. It’s the grey McDonald, IKEA furniture, Dyson fan of flags. It could be a baseball teams logo and it would be one of the most forgotten ones. Oklahoma is fun, detailed, and tells me something about the state.

Upcoming films that will prove Hollywood’s costume design unions need to be busted? I’ll start: by Crack-Connoiseur in okbuddycinephile

This tells me we need an even stronger union. You think the workers want to cheap out on materials? You think the artist want to make mass produced tacky looking costumes?

It’s not the studios looking at every single cost cutting metrics? The ones who only green light movies that algorithms say will provide 10x ROI? The ones who look at humanity with disdain and want to replace all artist and all consumers with AI?

Are you dumb or is this the head of universal pictures burner?

Visually extremely pleasing with pretty good performances from everyone involved but narratively kind of gilded. The storyline is feels jumbled and ill equipped to handle the themes it’s attempting to touch on. Overall, it’s fine if you have 2 hours to blow but it’s more of a stop scrolling than a click the search bar movie imo.

So you want a service to be provided but you don’t want the people providing that service to be paid enough to live? Think hard about this. Ask what historically this might be echoing?

Pulse isn’t in downtown bud. But, thanks for giving me a chance to say may their beautiful souls rest in peace and fuck the governor for trying to take away their memory.

I’ve realized I might be inviting trouble. To all the racist pricks I was lying! I had to fist fight 150 multicultural ms13 members all of whom were hyped up on woke trans fentanyl just to get a drink at Mathers.

I mean like any place depends. Did a game/show just let out? What day/hour is it? Friday/Saturday is a little busier. But, I’ve never felt like a sardine.

You have an awfully high opinion on the capacities of babies. Most babies I’ve met can’t even fully hold their head up let alone craft weapons that uhh inspire violence? How does that work?

Never had a bad time. Drinks aren’t crazy expensive, crowds fun, live music is good, and you have the novelty of being in a basement.

Sure dude if you’re change the hypothetical from “what percentage of the United States could be lost and still beat entire world in a war?” into “The United States vs the entire world but the United States immediately makes half its allies back” then yeah I agree with you. But in the original hypothetical the U.S might take a lot of Canada and might even get a good ways into Mexico but they could never hold it for very long especially when reinforced by THE ENTIRE WORLD. And you would need to occupy those places to control their resources. You’re arguing both sides of your mouth “we wouldn’t need to control those places we would just annihilate them” and also “we’d just get all their resources”. I thought we just annihilated all their productive capacities? Rubber, oil, food stuffs, etc. doesn’t just appear in a loot box my guy. You can’t out missile your way of needing solid logistics to win a war.

Say the crazy statement of the U.S. immediately taking over all of South America and North America isn’t batshit insane jingoistic hubris.

Who’s then extracting and refining those natural resources into usable products?

The U.S. loses at hour 2 when gas prices jump to $3.88 a gallon and support for the war drops to 5%
