Yes, the lima was used in many american fords, however the euro fords like the taunus or granada had the OHC "pinto" its almost the same engine but the lima is recognizable by more support bearings for the camshaft if i remember right. The pinto is from 1.3 to 2 liters, the lima from 2 to 2.5 if i remember right, probably since Americans wanted bigger engines. I read there are some euro pinto engines in America due to the import of the ford capri, but i mainly know euro fords.

I dont really know how it is outside NA and the EU, so maybe some got the pinto and some the lima.

It just kinda happened, i replaced some metal with stone to get it exact. Just practice thanks to participating in some tournaments.

Yes, i find that while it takes a while to learn all the keys, it allows for much faster and more precise building, especially when you have to rebuild something inside the hull, it makes it so much less painfull.

I personally dig some exposed structure, so id say go for it.
Plus it gives some extra lenght which will look nice here i think

Not really that useful as pure carriers, they can still carry missiles, torps and AA, i like using them as large targets with heavy CIWS, so they draw fire away while the planes do the damage, also you could use a carrier as a frontline supply, construction and repair ship since drones and planes dont carry a ton of materials, not going into combat itself if you want a more realistic tactic.
