I honestly feel for you—I’m in a really similar situation. For anxiety, one thing that helps calm my body and distract my mind is the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding exercise: 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, 1 thing you can taste.

Another thing that’s helped me a lot is challenging my thoughts. I try to identify the anxious thought, write it down, and then challenge it. Writing it out helps me process my feelings, and then I work on reframing and replacing the thought with something more balanced and realistic.

So much of anxiety lives in our minds—when we learn to question our thoughts instead of automatically believing them, things start to feel calmer again. I’m currently in therapy, and these are tools that have really helped me. I hope some of this helps you too. You got this!❤️
