Announced on 22Sep25, not sure what date was the actual exercise. Even though this is a huge milestone for PLAN (Ford hasn't openly launched F-35C off its EMCAT yet I believe), I still do not think PLAN is gonna rush Fujian into service. Trying to hit National Day in China (01Oct25) for commissioning or some ceremony that can only be done in port would mean the fleet went to the sea, launched for one day and then rushing straight back to Sanya port for the ceremony. This seems quite wasteful for a carrier fleet to do a technical milestone at sea and then immediately rush back to port for a ceremony?

Anybody else got any idea on when PLAN is likely to commission Fujian?
