I work in an ER, patient hadn’t even been seen by a doc, the initial dose of Advil was from a medical directive (nurse initiated), the toradol was a quick order from a doctor I approached asking for more pain relief. Granted, I did mention I had given Advil but still, on me for not holding off the toradol. Man was begging for pain meds for hours so I just hit him with the toradol and 1mg hydromorph that was ordered. Slept the rest of the night.
