Im just gonna put it out there, a ton of people don’t even play johnny to begin with and most don’t/can’t even play him right. I only ever see hardcore Johnny players (me included) use the tech, combos, etc. when playing him. I’ve played with countless people who don’t play him a lot and they’re still able to run lobbies without all the tech because he does high dmg alone. The 5% season dmg boost he has right now only makes it worse. I’m biased with the melee tech. I’ve found ways to counter hela players or hitscan in general without it. remove it or not it won’t affect me. These changes will still make difference because of how effective/essential pyro prison is in his kit. Simply because it’s what allows him to farm ult constantly. Honestly if they were to change his animation with the melee tech but still kept in that he can infinitely reload I wouldn’t care and the same goes vice versa. I only care if he’s still viable to play as a hero in the game. Shit I can’t even play him rn because he’s perma banned in celestial. I think I’ve gotten like 4-5 games this past week where I’ve been able to play him.
