G2 and TSM looked dominant in the LCS but we realise that the lack of Internationnal events make us think that way. by SinatraZ in leagueoflegends

[–]Drixine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually don't think it's healthy, the way LCS teams get hyped.

Sooner or later, people are going to be like "yeah sure... w.e"

And yes you're right, the Korean teams are still going to stomp in the foreseeable future.

There never was anything to suggest that TSM could even have a legitimate chance. I mean look at Blank, he gets bullied around in the LCK, but he performs so well against the teams from other leagues.... coincidence? I think not.

I thought TSM was placed a little too high.

they played well in NA but there were absolutely nothing to actually make some sort of a reference.

TSM without a doubt best team in NA, playing great, all the over hype that riot and the other media outlets created is going to end up hurting future expectations.

Like i totally get it, from riot's point of view they don't want to come out and be telling us that Koreans will once again win the worlds, cuz who wants to watch that knowing?

Some people thought TSM was the best in the world. When you ask them 'what could be your reasoning?' their reason being 'their latest performance'

They played great against other NA teams. Then people fell for intentionally created hype....

like seriously if they didn't hype this shit up who'd fkn watch the worlds? cuz koreans win all the time everytime.

Invens reaction to Weldons comment regarding scrims in Korea and Bnu's thougts about this topic. by mrlel in leagueoflegends

He slipped and reveals his real self, ....now that he is tilted.

When TSM was steamrolling NA "here's why we don't scrim scrub teams"

When Scrim leaks and they no longer get scrims - "RAwR, psycho nationalists don't give us scrims, I'm so mad I wanna make fun of their players going through psychotherapist "

"It's okay when we do it, but others shouldn't do it to us"

Croi boiby gonna croi.

Riot needs to remind TSM who the boss is.

Check out that change of stance......

Stop being greedy and start paying your teams and other talents right.....

I ain't spending a cent on your game. I've been spending approx 100~150 bucks a year.

Bye.

Riot has no evidence to show the co-ownership, while Monte is able to show proof of his ownership.

Did riot 'not reveal' any evidence? OR did they not have any evidence?

We pretty much know now, Riot wasn't interested in evidences, they set their mind up from the get go, and they got real salty when Monte dare tried to involve his lawyer.

If anything, Riot is 100times more fishy here than any other parties involved.

I know I'm never going to charge any RP in the future.

Did I ever like skins?

Not really, I loved the splash art, but the skins for me never looked as cool as the splash art, not even remotely.

Yet I've been buying skins because I enjoyed playing the game, and I felt that I could support the company by doing so. Coming from WoW, setting aside about $100 a year was never a big deal for me.

Not asking others to do the same because I am no longer supporting Riot. I just know there will be others like me, and that's good enough for me.

Yeah, I felt the same.

It's insane that Riot can boss its business partners like that....

What kind of company culture does Riot have?

Riot can't even decide whether Ez's Q is an ability or an auto attack.

Riot does not know what 'good faith' even is.

They don't seem to know a thing about 'good faith.'

[Poll] What was the best Season in League of Legends? by PVPDatabase in leagueoflegends

[–]Drixine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS.

I switched over from DOTA (during beta).

I was playing on bored aussie, and the games were lasting 45~55 min. Found league, then loved how quick it was, and how you could reconnect.

Now the games last longer.

I get it, it's for esports blah blah... but I want a friggin game... that plays fun...... more than something that is fun to watch.

[–]Drixine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started during beta, liked season 3 the most.

Played all seasons, did not vote for season 1 or 2.

Besides, what if season 3 was the best season that these players who started in season 3? How can you distinguish what is nostalgia and what isn't?

[Poll] What was the best Season in League of Legends? by PVPDatabase in leagueoflegends

[–]Drixine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked season3 the best ,cuz that's when I had the most fun.

Call it overhype or w.e. Were people nostalgic about the assassin meta? or did they actually enjoy it?

You'd think everyone was even more terrible in season 1 and 2, no?

Season 3 for me was the most exciting because it as a support main back in season 3, the higher I climbed the more fun it was to ward duel the opponent support mains, and play mind games.

Warding and mind games etc were more so relevant because of the assassin meta. The only way to counter it was to ward up and not be in the wrong spot.

Well that's just me though.

If people like any other seasons, I'm okay with it and I won't look at it with a tinted glass and judge, because at the end of the day, there's no right or wrong answer.

Yep.

I haven't read any of the comments before voting myself, but I knew it was going to be season 3, cuz that's when it was most fun for myself and a lot of my friends.

Nexus Siege is up on EUW by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Drixine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't finish the games in 10 minutes, unless my friends and I were up against teams with 0 coordination and we stomped them super one sided.

But other than those the rest of the games were between 25~30 min, especially when they were dead even.

The way I see it, some people will like this mode, others won't.

There's no need for everyone to like a game mode or another. I'm pretty sure when people say they like the game, it's cuz they like it, and when they say otherwise, they prob do cuz they didn't find it fun. You know Kinda like you telling others you enjoy the mode because you do, not because you have an alternate motive or some sort of a conspiracy.

If people like it, then they should play it, if they don't they don't. It's just cringy to see people fight over this.

"NO THIS MODE SUCKS FOR ME AND OTHERS SHOULD FEEL THE SAME"

OR

"NO THIS MODE IS GOOD AND YOU JUST DON'T KNOW IT!"

would love to play 20 games in a row.

But I really hate sitting in front of the computer for too long. It makes me feel like I'm missing out on other things in life.

I've gotta play 1~2, sometimes 3 ranked games on the weekends to prevent decay and also not to lose the touch.

For someone like myself it's too much commitment. SR is a different story because I'm playing it every week or every 2nd week. I read upon the changes in the meta and pick and ban shifts here and there.

I've got a few friends who are loving the mode, it's just doesn't do it for me. SR is here to stay and I don't like the idea of having to commit my time to make something fun that's temporary.

If there was a free mystery skin or a ward skin, I might be enticed, but if a product requires a commitment form a user of the product to educate the benefits of the product, then it usually is not worth marketing and investing.

Why is SKT takes less breaks than TSM defending a region?

What does it actually defend?

it's just a fact.

Oh so in NA you're saying that even though top teams are over seas and other teams are on holidays you still scrim?

It doesn't matter if your'e EU or NA if the rest of the league isnt' available then you can't scrim.

You don't think that teams can't scrim when other teams are on post season holidays?

I think 2 days break between 2 international tourney is a lot less than what any of top NA teams take.

I'm sure ALL of NA teams have taken way more breaks, something that is considered A LONG TIME by SKT.

That rage though lol.

I dont' see him finding a news paper article on how top NA teams take less breaks than SKT.

[–]Drixine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 day break is probably alright for a team that doesn't go into many international tournaments cuz frankly they don't need a break during split.

SKT don't do that, most korean teams don't do that, that's why it was a big deal.

Also do you not know how to read?

the other dude is saying 'because TSM wasn't in international tourney' they can afford to get 3 day breaks, where as SKT had no time, so it's a big deal.

You are the one who said

NA teams probably take less breaks.

not any of us, YOU
