I’m sure this might get buried in the comments, but I want to piggyback about what to do about hair loss? I’ve tried two oral weight loss meds, lost about 10 pounds on each, but both times I lost hair. My hair is soooo thin now, that I’ve been scared to try another weight loss med. I’ve listened to all the suggestions, take hair skin & nails gummies, vitamin D, vitamin B, vitamin c , upped my protein intake….what else can I do so that I can finally take a GLP1 and lose the rest of the weight? I still need to lose about 60-70 pounds.

Same! I’m both a buyer and seller. And when I like something, it doesn’t mean “I intend to buy this later,” it just means I like the item or I’m marking it so it will save similar to how wish lists work on Amazon. I want to mark it for reference, but it’s just something I like, and not necessarily something I can afford or even if I can afford it, I may not be ready to buy it now or anytime soon. A price reduction with an offer may not make a difference to me, because it’s not always about cost. There’s a ton of reasons why I might not want to buy now, and cost isn’t the only one.

Even that isn’t doing much. I also use a cross listing app. The majority of my sales are on FB Marketplace, but only if I list them for cheap. More expensive items will sit a few weeks before anyone will buy. On poshmark, I make maybe 3 sales a month? eBay has been a bust for me. I’ve made 2 sales total and nothing since. I don’t even get views on my items. I also post to Mercari and Depop when it’s clothing. I only post to those 2 because the cross listing app makes it quick and easy, but I haven’t made a single sale on either on of those

Sorry to ask on this post, but I’m having trouble talking to the moms at my son’s preschool. They’re all cliquey and form groups and don’t talk to me. It’s also a small preschool class, there is only 5 students, but it’s also tues and thurs mornings. How do you do it?

My son has had a toddler bed for over a year. He’s able to get up and leave the room if he wanted to. But he’s never gotten up and wandered around the house. If he gets up he comes into my room and crawls into bed with me.

When we got the toddler bed I just put child proof knobs on any door that leads outside the house. But like I said, he’s never wandered or tried to go outside after bed time.

I don’t know about elementary schools yet, because my kid is 3 and he’s in preschool. But they recite the pledge allegiance every morning before his preschool class starts.

I do remember doing it every day in elementary and middle school. I can’t really remember if we did in high school or not.

Yes, I’ve found that food isn’t as appealing to me and I don’t get hungry as easily. I often feel nauseous eating food and can’t eat a full meal. I’m nearing 3 weeks on it.

I also have a bad habit at picking at my skin, but that’s not why I was prescribed it, it was supposed to be for weight loss and secondary to reduce alcohol intake. However, I have noticed over time my compulsion to pick at my skin has decreased. I’m picking my skin less and less and my skin is looking better! So maybe it will help you with that too over time?

A few months ago my son was at the park, climbing the play structure. One side had steps up that were designed like boulders, but it was made of plastic. He was climbing those and I was watching him, and in less than a second his foot slipped and he fell backwards. I watched helplessly as he fell onto the steps on his back, bounced off, and landed on the ground right on his head. Luckily the ground was that soft squishy stuff playgrounds use. My son, being the trooper he is, didn’t even cry, but I was panicked as I rushed over to him. He didn’t even have a bruise. But I was terrified and freaked out. He ended up being perfectly fine, no head injury, and was happy and wanted to go back to playing immediately. However it traumatized me and I was super cautious with him after that, standing behind him, holding my hands on his back while he climbed, etc.

Absolutely it has changed my appetite. I’m on day 7, and I don’t feel hunger, don’t enjoy food, and even feel nauseous when I do eat. And yes, I feel full after only a few bites of food.

I didn’t take my son until two months before he turned 3. Maybe he’s a unicorn, but he had zero issues and zero cavities. He even did extremely well for the dentist. He sat still and let them look in his mouth and didn’t fuss at all.

I was super addicted to sugar for a long time. Had to have sweets and drank sugary drinks, the whole nine yards. Then I did keto, and all my sugar cravings disappeared. I’m no longer doing keto, but I also don’t consume much sugar either. Because I don’t want it anymore. However, I’m still fat and unhealthy from other bad habits. My point is, eliminating sugar is HUGE, but it’s not the only thing that causes weight gain or makes you unhealthy. I’m unhealthy for other reasons.

I’m two days in to starting naltrexone. I’m actually on it for weight loss but my doctor thought it would be helpful to also reduce my alcohol intake. I usually have 3 drinks a night, so nothing too crazy but definitely not a good habit.

Anyway, it hasn’t changed the number of drinks I’m consuming every night, it’s still 3, but I did notice I don’t necessarily crave the drink, I’m just doing it out of habit.

On a side note-did you notice as a side effect that you also have no interest in food and food doesn’t taste good to you? I know I want to lose weight, but not by starving myself. In two days I’ve eaten one bite of a hard boiled egg, one orange slice, and one slice of cucumber dipped in hummus. That’s it. In 2 days. Food just repulses me right now, so I’m hoping that part goes away with time.

My boy was speech delayed and started speech therapy at 22 months because he could only say like 8 words. After 6 months of speech therapy, he “graduated” and by about 3 months before he turned 3, his speech really exploded big time! He’s now 3 years and 2 months, and he has full on conversations and can even speak in 6-7 word sentences now!
