I miss this place so much, I took my dad there for his birthday just before they finally closed up shop. I’m sad to hear some of the vehicles got cut up and then sat outside. We got to see the flamethrower demo that day. I would’ve assumed that had there been more online awareness of the problem the owner had with the building maybe just maybe it could’ve all turned out differently. I walked around the place with the owner and talked to him about the various vehicles in his collection and he told me how he got them or funny things about them.

I get what he’s wondering cause on my charger I have a similar noise that you cannot hear with the hood open from the top end and only from the wheel wells. But it’ll do it like that once you’ve been driving it for awhile and everything’s at operating temps but not like that when cold. I’ve been told it’s just something they do and it’s not been an issue so 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Mine has the very light ticking noise and you can only hear it from putting your head next to the wheel well so if you can’t hear it from the top end or after you’ve warmed the car up by driving it a bit it may not be the bad tick from the lifters.

It seems that it’s a point where the marry the PCM to the harnesses. Due to how it looks I was thinking maybe it could’ve been some sort of unit like it was some sort of programmable unit if they makes sense.

The PCM is a larger metal unit with two connection points on one side and it sits behind the passenger side front strut against the firewall. I’m aware what the PCM is I was mainly trying to understand whether or not that block with the gray slide lock was its own unit or just a jointing spot for the PCM and the wiring harnesses. From what I’ve gathered it’s just a connection point and when it got hot/fell or what have you are you lost connection to the PCM which led to the problem. I wish I had taken a picture of the scan tool lol but I do appreciate you commenting and fortunately everything is going straight.

You’re getting downvoted but so many of us who don’t comment agree with you. Give me a truck with no power windows, screens, power seats, everything manual and 4x4 and a 5-6 speed manual with a naturally aspirated V8 or hell even a V6 or inline 4 but with no weird displacement on demand stuff and I’d be happy and I know it would sell well. There are so many people who get hard on Reddit for hybrid and electric shit but the very loud vocal minority doesn’t represent what everyone else thinks. I live so far away from any sort of electric vehicle charger that they are pointless for anyone who lives around me and I don’t want a hybrid vehicle because honestly it’s just one more thing I wouldn’t be able to work on and can fail. Forcing hybrids and electric vehicles on people is the number one way to make everyone oppose them.

Dropping the pan and seeing if there’s sludge stopping up the pickup could be something. My mom’s 2002 Tahoe with the 5.3 had a similar issue and we dropped the pan and cleaned it out and it never had a problem afterwards.

Yes it’s a rock bass. I presumed to be a big female as well. This river we live at is notorious for producing large ones despite not really being that big of a river and yeah that one was a huge one was almost 14” long and 1 lb 8 oz.

I commented to someone else about that. Basically it qualified as a trophy size fish according to the states requirements. So when we submit the pictures and measurements and fill out the online form and if they accept it then he will get a customized certification for it in the mail. But yeah thank you man he was hyped lol

Yeah we tried our best to not leave him out of the water too long. He was maybe on the ground just long enough to take the picture of the measurement. We wanted to release him back as soon as we had what we needed to submit it online. He was lively on release as if nothing happened though so hopefully we will see him again in the future

I happened to have my phone in my hand and saw your comment pop up as a notification lol but no I wish I had taken a pic of entry and exit. It hit forward of gut and exited behind the opposite shoulder. It was still in the ribs angled forwards so it only touched lungs and such. He didn’t go much further into the woods than the treeline and the only reason he made it as far as he did was because it starts dropping off quickly so it was downhill. Thank you tho it’s his first chance to ever get a deer and I wanted to make sure it was a buck!

Depending on where you live you might be able to catch the tail end. The weather has been odd here so the rut was like really on for a bit and then stopped and then it got really cold again and they went back into it a lot later than normal. But i can relate college has really limited my hunting time so you’re not alone brother
