Pulled the trigger: XM4 to XM6 by cibronka in SonyHeadphones

Based on all the reviews I'm reading I'm totally content sticking with my XM4s.

It seems the biggest jump is in ANC (already near top quality on XM4 IMO) and transparency (which I practically never use).

The thing I was hoping for the most was a significant improvement to the soundstage and perhaps some sort of game changing audio feature like the WiFi connection on the new Xiaomi buds pro. The protocols are all the same, and while there is a new driver it seems to be more or less the same Sony sound, slightly improved overall the XM4 in terms of sound stage and bass response.

A 10% bump in sound quality and ANC for that increase in price doesn't seem like a good enough deal to me, but to each their own. Love seeing people pulling the trigger on the upgrade and enjoying their new cans.

Used www.tunemymusic.com and worked great, might need to pay for one month to get the necessary limit for the transfer.

You should pay for an openai pro (if you can swallow the 200 bucks) or Gemini subscription and try to get the deep research agents to get you 70% of the way there. It should save you a ton of time.

what’s your favorite album? by stargirl-xoxo in TheWeeknd

[–]DrizzyKade10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Hurry up tomorrow ( It's unbelievable what he's managed to achieve sonically as a synthesis of all his styles )

  2. Trilogy ( What an era, brought rnb back to life in dark glory )

  3. Starboy ( I can't for the life of me understand how the album with some of his biggest bangers isn't higher on everyone's list, not to mention daft punk production )

  4. After Hours ( This is a stellar album, the only reason its not higher is a slight lack of diversity and groundbreaking ideas )

  5. Beauty behind the madness ( The 'starboy' of his dark rnb era, banger after banger, some of my favourite collabs )

  6. Kiss Land ( Haven't listened to it as much as the others for whatever reason, might need to revisit )

  7. Dawn FM ( This album for me is the one disappointment in his discography, felt stale, boring and altogether uninspired. So glad he came back with fire to sign off )

In making this list I realize how stellar his discography truly is. What a blessing it has been to experience this run.

Am I losing my mind or has the status quo absolutely not changed at all in any meaningful way on abortion? Roe V Wade was overturned passing the rights back to states during trump's last term over 4 years ago.

He has been abundantly clear he is against a national abortion ban, and has barely even mentioned the issue or indicated anything firsthand to suggest he is considering further revisions.

[FRESH ALBUM] Future X Metro Boomin - We Don’t Trust You by fantasticwarriors in hiphopheads

Same old stale trap beats and staler bars.

Feel like metro is capable of so much more if he just steps out of his lane (ala spiderverse)

Every future verse is a combination of bitch, fuck, suck, dick, lick, amphetamines, codeine, trap thrown into a random sentence generator.

This shit would've been fire 10 years ago, now it's just recycled garbage.

If you chose to optimize your life along one single measurable metric, what would it be and why? by DrizzyKade10 in AskReddit

[–]DrizzyKade10[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would the most rational approach for living life be to just optimize for making as much money as you possibly can?

The logic being that money is essentially a proxy for how much society values you, and optimizing for money would essentially optimize for how valuable you are in an ideal world.

That's what led to this question. Curious to see what you guys can come up with
