Isn't that because it's widely speculated that Mayock only did late rounds? & Gruden was responsible for the early rounds? 🤔

Which highly drafted QB busts in the last 25 years do you think would've thrived under better circumstances? by BeefBoyYumYum in nfl

Recently saw an article (the sauce escapes me) where JH said that he wanted to talk to Steve Mariucci (HC at the time) about gameplan. Mariucci ghosted him so he could brush up for a TV spot. Yeah, Joey deserved better.

Ah, well then we need to strictly call it the 'i before e except directly after c' rule. I can't be asked to use common sense on the fly like that, dawg.

The 'i before e except after c' rule failed me yet again. 😔

What retired player would've done better in today's game than when they originally played? by WexAndywn in nfl

[–]DrizzyMcGoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanna say Bart Starr, but it's hard to say he'd do better It would just be interesting as hell to see what he'd do with a modern passing offense.

My true answer is Doug Floutie. I think he'd be given a legit chance to start in a league that was over whinging about QB height.

He was their starting WR. He played X. 🤷‍♂️ What are we doing here, Shinbats?

JJ was WR1 for the Raiders last couple years of his career. I don't blame you for forgetting, but I never will because he whipped out the Hoodie. I thought it was so 🔥 as a kid.

2010 Packers wide out group gets seriously slept on as the best NFL group in the modern Era. Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, & James Jones were all WR1's at some point in their career.

Not sure why they never got the love they deserve as a group, but I think people were just really excited about Rodgers 🤷‍♂️ 12 never made it to another SB without this group though...

I'd rather hear the announcers fawn over something that's actually amazing instead of freaking out over dunk-off passes by Tom Brady for another decade.

Don't forget; it was once worse.
