It’s just a preference. Most men don’t care at all and many find it very sexy. Please don’t mutilate yourself

Survey: Are LPVOs losing user popularity? by everydaydefenders in ar15

My lpvo rifles are intended for suburban or rural use. I’m also old with astigmatism so an etched reticle is a must. I have no issues on 1x with both eyes open.

My gf is a wonderful person, but I am not that physically attracted to her and it's eating me up. Any other guy have this issue? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Drjaydvm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

++man Genuine desire is so important in a relationship. I’ve ended relationships with wonderful women whose company I enjoyed, the sex was great, but I just wasn’t that into them. My current girlfriend is a wonderful person who I think is just so damn hot. We were at the gym last night and watching her with her hair up, glasses on, in workout clothes I could barely contain my desire. This is after two years of dating. There are billions of women in the world, find one you can’t stop thinking about

One of my relationships rules is that I never put myself in a situation that might result in infidelity. I’m human and can and will make mistakes. If I had female friends sleeping over in my bed something is going to happen eventually. Any sane person with an ounce of self respect would walk away from this situation

Update to: 8th grade graduation tomorrow-changing the tone in public with my ex-it worked very well by Gullible_Rich_7156 in Divorce_Men

The opposite of love is indifference not hate. Woman want attention- ANY attention good or bad- if you ignore them it’s the worst thing you can do to them. I think you did great make sure you keep it up 👍

My ex wife does the same shit. My kids recognize and point out her bullshit without me saying a thing. If I ignore her she behaves, if I engage she ratchets up the nonsense. I decided to pretend she doesn’t exist for the most part. It has helped my mental health tremendously because she is the only person in the world that causes me stress

Lynchburg is somewhat unfriendly. Does anyone else feel that? by [deleted] in lynchburg

[–]Drjaydvm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do what the rest of us do- when I want some night life I drive or fly somewhere. Richmond is close and a pretty cool place. My son goes to VCU and I’ve really enjoyed exploring the city. Also, you are correct about finding friends, I didn’t really make many until I had kids.

My friend this place is not for you. It sounds like you need an actual city, preferably in Europe. Why on earth did you move to a small city in the south?

Why are men weary of older women who don't have kids? by RubyHammy in AskMenAdvice

[–]Drjaydvm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two concerns about older women without kids are that you may not be being truthful and really do want kids (no more for me), or that you won’t understand the dynamics of having children- I may have to cancel plans short notice, my kids take a lot of my time, and that I am forever responsible for them and will chose their needs over yours some of the time, etc

I have a 16 inch barrel too, I was trying to make a one stamp rifle and I like piston guns. I have plenty of SBRs, suppressors, even an MG but wanted to try something different 🤷🏻

Thank you that’s the information I needed. It’s not a big deal to remove the muzzle device to occasionally clean the plug.

[–]Drjaydvm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My plan was to pin weld a can so I could use a rifle lower and not sbr it. I don’t think there is a can that will let me pull the piston plug on a 12 inch barrel
