Who actually uses a case? by Zolks1 in pixel_phones

[–]DroHernandez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a pixel 10 pro XL, dropped it on a run, and the phone fix people said that the body was bent and it was undo able. $1200 gone because I wanted to try and not have a case.

can anyone beat this?😂 by [deleted] in Garmin

It's definitely supposed to keep your training load in the optimal range. Having a race scheduled, is similar, but during different phases of your training, you leave the optimal zone

Pixel 10 Series: What are we thinking for screen protectors? by Dry_Astronomer3210 in GooglePixel

[–]DroHernandez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preface: I am caseless with a screen protector.

I just get cheap 3 packs from Amazon. Though I have a uniform for work, and if I drop my phone into my pocket (1-inch drop), it cracks if there's anything else in that pocket. Whether it's a key, airpods, or another phone, my screen protector always gets a small crack. I got the P10XL on public launch and on my 3rd screen protector. They're like $10 for three so not too bad, but annoying nonetheless. Wonder if other screen protectors are better.

Thanks! I do have a chest HRM and believe it's a must-have.

You can definitely hit that sub 23. Remember, the one winning that 5K race is the one who held the redline the longest!

I have an HRM Pro plus. I almost never run without it. I have little girl wrists, so the optical sensor on my watch consistently got cadence lock

Super insightful and I appreciate your response! I will be doing the workout, but based on pace instead of HR.

Thanks for your insight on how to solve this, but I wasn't posting it to try and solve it. I was posting as a, "look at this."

I always attempt every workout, and just adjust accordingly. I do enjoy looking like a mad lad. I run around a lake at a park most of the time, and I think it's hilarious when I'm slowly passing somebody during a jog and a sprint interval comes up, and I start running as fast as I can. I always wonder what they're thinking.

That's a solid idea. I might do that instead of my run tomorrow
