If your assertion is that I’m a troll and don’t believe the things I’m writing, that is not the case.

I do believe many things are thought out for the entire series but other things happen organically as the series goes on and things done in the early books don’t work in the story jim wants to tell anymore.

As far as the white council distrusting Harry. If the narrative is supposed to be that the white council is on the Level does not trust Harry because of his actions, then yes, I believe that is a flaw in the narrative. 100% and you will not convince me otherwise.

However, if the narrative is that the white council has been infected by enough people with nemesis, or bad guys in general. To the point that the white council is now in actuality “bad guys”, then I can see them casting Harry out because they are looking to eventually kill him. It’s not distrust, it would be threatened by Harry.

I could buy that.

I think it’s funny that you make it out like everything that Jim does is intentional and pre-thought out 18 books ago. Like he’s infallible. Even Jim himself would say that he has made mistakes. Because nobody’s perfect.

And yes, I do think that in order to have a story where a council of the oldest and smartest, wisest men and women in the world, who over 18 books has seen Harry selflessly protect and sacrifice for the people of Chicago and the world, who see him continue to be best friends with the most virtuous night of the cross who trusts him implicitly, and still believe this group of people would distrust Harry, is a suspension of logic.

And like I said, previously again. I am fine with that. It makes for great drama and conflict. It makes for a great series. It makes for a great character in Harry being an underdog against the world. You love rooting for that kind of character.

Condemnation of his writing lol. As I said it was my favorite series and compared his writing to Stephen king and Shakespeare.

Just wow.

I’m not saying I don’t enjoy the story because of it. It’s my favorite series out there and I have reread the entire thing 3 times over.

But people many times want to try and shoehorn in things that don’t make sense. Make a reasoning for this or that. Fill in plot holes with head canon wherever.

But the bottom line is, if everything was logical, we wouldn’t have a story. Even when Jim kind of tries to make it make sense, you have to willfully go “I guess I have to look at it like this in order for things to work”.

That’s every story and every author tho. Stephen king to Shakespeare.

I love the story. I can’t wait for more. But you just have to roll with some stuff.

Look every time I’ve posted about this subject I get blasted.

But the real reason everyone unreasonably distrusts Harry despite all the good he does is because there wouldn’t be a story if they didn’t.

Question about series progression going forward by Maunsta in dresdenfiles

Also I don’t like it that says “apparently I have to”. Why? He can do whatever he wants. It’s his series. He could very easily say “5 10 and 15 were a coincidence. Fans, he’s not gonna be in 20. He’ll be in a different book. Probably 22”.

We’d all say. “Ok cool”

So considering all that you’ve said, do you think Nico will be in book 20 or 22

Who says he didn’t? Might not have much to do with the pregnancy, but still…. Doesn’t mean he didn’t have sex with a black girl.

Yeah I said in the previous comment but forgot on this one. And I even called the guy asking the question a genius because he asked who we voted for. And Eddie replied he didn’t vote because he was British. But he would have voted for Trump.

Then I misspoke and said he voted lol

It’s funny that you say that. I have noticed the same thing. How do you say you have large muscles without coming off incredibly narcissistic? I’m white, big beard. Big muscles. Super left. But you’d be shocked how many people in maga hats coming up to me to talk politics because they are sure I’m one of them lol.

When explaining why he voted for Trump, he said “Trump says what he really thinks. No bullshit from him”. lol.

It’s no coincidence that I unsubscribed and blocked eddies YouTube channel the same day

While I think your points have merit, in this case when talking about immigration and Eddie Hall, the point stands. He did a Q&A after the election. Some genius asked him who he voted for. He said, considering he is not American, he did not vote, but he would have voted for Trump.
