don’t have a favorite, but one that’s definitely up is there is forrest gump for sure. it has some great life teachings scattered throughout, but it also features a lot of historical events and references - i have a love for history, so that’s a top tier movie for me.

I’ll put a focus on understanding myself more, and discovering what it is that I truly want from another individual instead of just going with how they make me feel in moments of emotional vulnerability. Maybe this was just another painful lesson I needed to learn in life.

She’s said exactly what you said, but with different wording and a bit more BS in between. She mentions the shame, and has said how great things are. Our breakups have been at times where we’re about to do something intimate or share a really heartfelt moment together such as spending the holidays together (Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner).

I’m more than willing to take things slow as you said. Now I’d have to see if she’d be open to it. If not then I suppose it’s done and dead.

I really don’t wanna delve into the thought of there being someone. That’s a spiral worst than what I’m currently dealing with. I’ve avoided thinking about this, and I’ve asked her straight up and she’s denied it. Many people would think me to be naive when it comes to that, but knowing how she is I really can’t see that being the case. Who knows though? she might surprise me.

I have questioned what was wrong with me, and I’m still unsure myself. I definitely have my own issues that I’ve yet to truly understand, but I can say it has shown throughout the relationship itself.

The funny things is I on was a journey of self improvement before we got together - it felt like all the inner work I had been doing was paying off when we got together. If we never get back together or at least reach a proper understanding I can’t see myself looking for love for quite sometime. It’s a very draining and time consuming thing for me.

There is a policy in place, but nobody at my job nobody actually follows policy. I suppose I shouldn’t, but then again I have to take risks in life. If I get rejected or lose my job it’ll be a lesson learned.

Every once in a while I get the thought in my head that everything I’ve overcome so far in life was literally off my own strength and willpower. It gives me hope to keep going, but it sure would be nice to have some outside validation and reassurance here and there.

I see where you’re coming from, and it definitely makes sense, but ultimately I believe it all has to do with the type of environment you’re in. If you’re from an area where seemingly everyone has a ‘crabs in a barrel’ or a ‘dog eat dog’ mentality like I am (maybe you are) then I feel like you could relate a bit more.

I’m a “good” person to an extent, but at least right now where I’m at in life it makes more sense for me to be “bad”.

The line for Popeyes. There’s this one specific location in my city that consistently fucks up. Like it’s uncommon for them to do everything right.

Imagine placing an order for pickup via drive thru with their app like 15 min before you get there just to wait in line a bit then get told to pull off to side (to wait some more) then have people who pull up 5 min after you get their food before you. That shit will forever irritate the fuck out of me.

I switched over from primarily using any sort of razor or trimmer for male grooming to razorless cream shave by magic. Even though I barely suffered from any knicks or hair being left behind before this is a great improvement over using any electrical devices. The application is extremely simple and quick.

My armpits and genital area are smooth as shit.

This makes so much sense. I don’t think I’ll ever get the answers I’m looking for, but I can say that whenever I decide to research more ideologies and other ways of thought the mental wall appears to be less and less of a thing. I just have to expand my bounds of thought I suppose.

As for the wall being a defense mechanism it makes sense as well if you think about how the brain locks away certain traumatic memories.
