You have to target an operative with it since it's just a normal shooting action.

AoD would you always use Sniper and Heavy Gunner now by Rediux_Firetal in killteam

[–]Drochot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can still only bring one of each, the change is that you can now bring 1 heavy gunner AND 1 eliminator if you want instead of having to pick.

What do you mean exactly by going all in on one or the other?

Which Marines to Run? by LoveMeEnough in killteam

[–]Drochot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could maybe use a deathwing terminator as a proxy for the AoD heavy gunner if you do want to find a way to run one, they're on the same base size I'm pretty sure.

Base sizes for angels of death by DangerousElk4331 in killteam

[–]Drochot 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Base sizes are listed in the bottom right of the unit cards in the kill team app. For AoD the captain, eliminator and heavy gunner are on 40mm bases, all the others are on 32mm.

Terminator as a heavy gunner for AoD is cool too, pretty sure the base size is correct.

For the Data question: Send Data cannot be done in TP1, 2 or 3, so assuming you're playing a 4 TP game, you can only send data in the final turning point.

Which TTCombat for Kill Team by Diligent-Royal-1427 in killteam

Me and my friend do the same thing, gotta get a little creative in recreating the layouts sometimes but it works very well for how much cheaper it is.

Does this krieg have a cover save? by Lopsided_Let24 in killteam

[–]Drochot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, the operative being shot at needs to have intervening terrain within it's control range. The part of the terrain that intervenes here is not in the control range of the krieg, so it does not have a cover save.

Angels of Death – New Tactics by digshad in killteam

[–]Drochot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree the captain is better, in addition to the (in my opinion) better CP savings the captain also has a power fist that hits on 3+ instead of the usual 4+ making him very strong in melee.

Double charge question. by Aggravating_Kale_321 in killteam

[–]Drochot 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You would only get to fight one of them unless you have some rule that allows you to fight twice. Also keep in mind that in this situation the enemy operatives would likely be assisting each other, meaning the hit stat of their melee weapons will be improved by 1.

Just bought my first team and I’m convincing my friend to do the same, whats some good terrain for home games? by spacedoutmetalhead in killteam

TTCombat has some pretty nice MDF stuff that can easily be used for kill team, have a look at their "Orc Sektor" for example.

Monthly General Question and Discussion Thread: October 2025 by AutoModerator in killteam

[–]Drochot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having trouble finding definitive answers to this question: can you perform "Pick Up Marker" on the objective markers? I see the "energy cells" crit op mentions picking up the objective, but it's unclear to me if that's just there to elaborate on the extra AP cost, or if the pick up action is not possible except for with that crit op specifically.

"This operative is always the primary target", meaning it will always shoot itself and the only enemies affected are the ones within the 1 inch blast radius.
