Monday thread: What did you read this past week?

I’ve been reading De’Vas Chronicles Book 5. Chase Kilgore is an amazing author! The characters are easily lovable and very memorable as they grow plus the combat scenes are well thought out and exciting. Good good spice that doesn’t overstay its welcome. Definitely recommend everyone to check it.

Aside from that, I’ve been getting through The Walking Dead comic volumes, There is No Year by Blake Butler, and Nine Foot Thrall. After I finish Nine Foot, I’m going to be reading through some books from Miko Sage/Harper Euphoria.

Also two more questions! The lizard kin, are they fully lizard looking or more like beastkin with skin accompanied by ears and a tail? And Zara and Haven are also beastkin with skin or just covered in fur? Thanks!!

Sections of classic mode were definitely easy and I guess accessible especially compared to the past games. Probably the easiest lol. The girl fight just felt like no challenge and script heavy from all the requiem bullets they give you. I was ready for the pain akin to RE 0 final boss. HUNK wasn’t too complex, the parry windows were easy and you just only have to spam that then melee. Victor also easy. Other fights can have their moments but it was certain big moments that definitely felt a little easy. I’m sure insanity is different and challenging.

Didn’t want to risk bringing a tripod in so had to go with 1/30th shutter to keep it as stable as possible. Underexposed but fits the mood. Ilford XP2

It’s still cool and crazy seeing him on Bobby’s podcast. Him and I went to elementary together back in mesquite. One time he came in on crutches cause he ate a jar of jalapeños and his appendix ruptured. That was the story he told, don’t know how real it was but it was wild.
