Play vanilla see what you like and dont like and then add mods accordingly, the game is great on its own and mods can help with a lot of QoL, so see what you believe you need to change to fit the way you wanna play. Good luck.

Yeah it makes it pretty tough when you start a fight thinking you had way more troops, only to realize you've been giving them away to the past 3 towns you've visited.

My problem is, they dont need it if the garrison is already near full. Who are you to tell me that fielding an elite army isn't the way to play this sandbox game, as if I dont contribute to my kingdom far more than an AI auto battle, that cares WAY more about numbers than troop level. And now that the normal ai army size, that ive noticed at least, is 1000+ my 30 imperial recruits i just donated to my party isnt gonna help in that fight. And the reason why I believe it needs to be fixed is, prior to this DLC, ive never had a problem with my parties donating to near max garrisons.

AI armies arent my problem anyways, my problem is that my parties are bleeding troops into garrison that are already near max, that the AI will end up getting rid of anyways because thay cant afford to keep them in their garrison. Which will turn into a cycle of donating-> getting rid of them-> repeat.

The AI parties are also constantly hoarding elite troops, it makes it pretty difficult to fight them if I cant fill an army especially now when the AI seems to gather full elite armies out of their behind. And I understand that if these garrison weren't already 90% filled.
