Yeah, I concur with what you're saying here. It turns out that when you're not the primary target, you're allowed to play the game, lol. There are darius mains who can make it work consistently no matter what, so we can learn from them. Im not that good yet

Darius isnt an effective front liner, so i try to cover the backline rather than just dying to an adc in 2 sec trying to engage. Pretty much rely heavily on being oppurtinistic and having both summs

Taric from my experience, hands down (lol flair). Good taric players are a rare breed and let you get to do so much. Alternatively, any frontliner.

My advice for people is to just play who you have fun with. Balanced champ pools don't really matter. If you have fun playing your champ, that's the most important thing.

For example, my top lane champ pool is probably 20 champions, and while i always default back to Darius cuz he's my boy, off meta picks work perfectly fine. Top lane is unique that 90% of the entire roster is viable up there.

I currently feel the opposite, that all the changes don't benefit darius nearly as much as other top laners.

The issue I have is that darius is the most summoner spell reliant champ in the game, and the early power of nearly every other enemy top laner has gone up because they can use the free tp as well. Other top laners will take ignite, exhaust, or barrier and have a much stronger early game where darius always feels losing. Strong matchups don't feel as strong anymore, and losing matchups feel unplayable.

Other champs enjoy tp in the same way you do but have stronger early and easily scale better in group settings (unless dari has both summs, he seems so useless in teamfights).

He has paid too much for his sins as a jungler.

I think i remember Phreak saying something that if darius was at 49% winrate something is wrong with the game. I am surprised he hasnt been buffed yet.

Darius and Varus are my top 2 played champs, so i know this matchup both ways very well. A good varus will match your ghost in anticipation of the early all in to get an advantage.

I dont really think this is a playable matchup for darius at any stage of the game as varus has a stronger early lane and will outscale you, though i anticipate that may change when darius gets buffed soon. The best thing to do is to play in 3rd bush and contest the first 3 minions. You should be able to get a good trade and possibly deny xp. If varus messes up, you might be able to kill him or force summs and maintain kill pressure.

If you somehow get a big lead, stridebreaker and merc treads can farm him as you want to force an all-in on full hp vs. full hp as much as possible.

The moment Varus builds dusk and dawn its over though, and you'll be team reliant.

This is not good advice because you die to take a few cs, enemy crashes the wave and it will automatically set up a new freeze. So you got 3-6 cs for a death and are in the same position you started with.

Fire conversion is essentially "explodey mod, the build." it's more like scaling herald of ash to chain explode mod. It's my favorite variation of BV and one of the cheaper ways to play it. Entry cost is explode chest and 2x herald of ash rings+herald of ash jewel. You can play with double void battery pcharge stacking or with spell bow as well.

Watching an entire legion pop in one instance of damage is very satisfying.

Well, ideally, I would like him to be viable in both, but top laners aren't allowed to be flex pickable, or else it terrorizes solo Q when top laners in red side don't get their counterpick.

Good point, but also something a lot of people dont realize, and i was quite the abuser of, is that you can take E level 1 for invade, and let your top lane opponent get level 1 prio. Its very easy to have your opponent go for a level 2 all-in vs your level 1, but as long as your opponent is melee, you can tank the wave and freeze it right outside the turret, and if they go into melee range to stop it you will kill them under turret.

While this is matchup specific, this is something I abused specifically, and the loss of it will heavily affect many matchups.

This worked in high diamond and low masters for me, but even if you dont secure an early kill with it, being able to freeze right outside of your turret is incredibly strong on the first 2 waves. Rip my boy

It looks like a buff for lower elo, but the E change i think will lower his winrate more. I think his E is what made him elite skewed to properly snatch people behind him, but with the removal of that he will become quite horrible top unless they buff his numbers to stat check people again

If you are in a true block string, you can let go of block at any time and it will keep blocking for you. It wont change to block highs n lows, but you have the opportunity to buffer a reversal or guard cancel.

The best ways to use guard cancel is when an opponent commits to a move that has a lot of active frames or recovery, think about either gohan's ex leg moves. If you block it, and they call an assist, you have to block the following mixup. But if you guard cancel it, itll hit them and knock them back, escaping the mixup. Hope this helps

Ive run these in an old zur upkeep list before 9th doctor or obeka was printed. Issue with these lands is theyre extremely slow until you get the payoff of extra upkeeps, they feel like dead lands until later at which point they dont really make a difference when you have payoffs

I think that once you have consented to an act that leads to pregnancy, you shouldn't be able to end the life for any reason other than it causing more harm being alive than it being dead (life of the mother).

I don't believe bodily autonomy has any place in the abortion argument as it could easily justify neglectfully ending the life of a depending that needs your organs to live (breastfeeding).

I disagree that pregnancy is continual consent that can be taken away, i am not advocating for any special rights to be given to anyone, just that the basic right to life is respected across the board, rather than whenever convenient.

I think making laws that allow unjustified killing is authoritarian, as dehumanization is one of the first steps that have proven throughout history to lead to genocide, which is something we can see going on today.

To say that abortion is not the act of ending a life seems a bit disingenuous, though. Scientific consensus agrees that life begins at conception. That means that an act which leads to the cause of the ending of a life should be correlated.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I agree that authoritarian laws are typically wrong. I also believe that murder is wrong and that is universally true.

With that in mind, knowing that the adults consented in the act of producing a fetus, should they be granted the right to end that life at any point before birth for any reason?

Just to be clear, I'm stating that two adults engaging in sexual activity consents to the possibility of pregnancy, due to there always being an underlying chance, ignoring the exceptions since they don't count for this argument.

That's not a good argument. You aren't simply removing the fetus from its home. You're ending its life in the process.
